Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Junior Analyst II Margin Improvement to join our team at Nissan's HQ in Franklin, TN.
A Day in the Life:
The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives.
Coordinates cross-functional work with Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, Purchasing and other teams (internally and externally) on:
Identifying and getting approval for new cost reduction ideas
past model parts management
introduction and establishment of new model parts cost
Track identified threats or opportunities and assist to develop recommendations for potential NNA cost minimization/avoidance.
Manage/approve/monitor/validate in-house and NSCs costs (FOBs) based on competitive FOBs of local suppliers and other sources, etc.
Update and track COP models to evaluate impact of cost reduction initiatives
Perform daily maintenance activities related to in-house and Nissan Affiliated Companies (NSCs) costs (FOBs)
Maintain performance tracking reports to ensure objective achievement
Support development of material for KPI reviews
Support semiannual analysis and develop business plan submissions for NSCs parts reflecting cost changes and exchange rate impacts.
Manage/validate the NSCs exchange rates adjustments.
Keep SOP documentation maintained and up to date.
As necessary, other related duties of which the above are representative.
Who We’re Looking for:
Required:
The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.
Superior analytical skills and strong abilities to communicate quantitative or analytical findings succinctly.
Solid understanding of internal parts systems and parts operations or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Technical automotive parts experience is beneficial.
Experience:
Three (with MBA) to five (w/o MBA) or more years of financial, purchasing, and business analysis with knowledge of cost/margin optimization.
Experience in the automotive industry, service parts or high SKU industrial environment is highly preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related business discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
Computer Skills:
Thorough computer knowledge to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations. Excellent Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word. Knowledge of Access and Power BI a plus. Familiarity with Nissan legacy/mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations is a plus. Moderate technical and/or programming experience is beneficial.
