
Sr Visual Merchandiser
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an innovative visual merchandiser to assist in generating sales through creative retail and wholesale displays that capture consumers’/buyers’ attention, with the goal of providing an excellent in-store experience. You will employ visual merchandising principles to convert window shoppers into prospects by driving branding and sales objectives in order to maximize profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing a visual merchandising strategy/guideline for the store.
- Ensuring the visual merchandising guideline is in line with the brand, products, and target market.
- Finalizing designs and creating detailed floor plans for display areas.
- Sourcing the props and creative materials for displays.
- Installing and setting up window displays, show room display, and in-store displays, or supervising third-party vendors.
- Coordinate with different departments to implement launch of new stores/corners.
- Changing displays to promote new product launches or to reflect festive or seasonal themes.
- Ensuring uniformity of displays across multiple store locations.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Retail store, Retail Operations, Sales, Brand Marking, and Merchandising to improve brand/product presentation and sales promotion.
- Monitoring costs and working within budget.
- Researching outdoor/sports market, and design trends that will inform the visual merchandising strategy.
- Participate in cross-functional projects across the business.
- Identify issues and process gaps inherent in cross functional procedures and suggest options for resolution.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of visual merchandiser experiences in retail or wholesale industry.
- Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, or other visual design tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and sales KPI results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above

Job Conditions:
- Job requires hours that may occasionally exceed 7.5 hours per day and/or 37.5 hours per week during times of peak activity.
- Evening meetings and/or weekend work occasionally required to collaborate with people in other time zones and to ensure timely project completion.
- Some domestic travel, occasionally including weekends required.
- Some job pressure exists in the balancing of several projects with conflicting and sometimes changing deadlines.
Exposure to a computer CRT.
