Team Leader - Driver

Are you an experienced leader with some driver experience? You might be who we are searching for! 

We are looking for a Team Leader – Driver to join and lead our Blenheim team of wonderful Drivers. In this role you will: 

• Advance the company’s vision, mission and values in all dealings and decisions and translate the formation of the company’s culture. 
• Implement and participate in Human Resource systems and initiatives to effectively resource business and meet strategic objectives. 
• Develop strategies, plans and allocate resources to ensure corporate governance. 
• Implement strategies and manage standards so that effective customer service is achieved to both internal and external customers. 
• Comply with all statutory obligations. 
• Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed 

Our ideal candidate will have the below skills and qualifications: 

• Clean and up to date Class 4 (NZ) License. 
• HR or Class 4 driving experience. 
• Demonstrated supervisory experience. 
• Computer skills in MS office and operational databases (desirable). 
• Experience within the waste and/or transport industry (desirable). 
• Leadership/teamwork capabilities. 
• Mechanical aptitude. 
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
