Job Description
The Opportunity:
CACI is searching for an Automation Data Information Administrator to support the FEMA Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO) in Washington, D.C. As an Automation Data Information Administrator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of FEMA's cybersecurity operations. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cybersecurity professionals, data analysts, and system owners to design and implement automated solutions that reduce manual effort and improve risk visibility. Your efforts will directly contribute to safeguarding FEMA's mission-critical systems and data through advanced automation and integration. The Automation Data Information Administrator will be responsible for designing and maintaining cybersecurity automations, connectors, data pipelines, and dashboards that reduce manual effort and improve risk visibility across tools and workflows. This position requires creating and managing end-to-end pipelines ingesting data from diverse sources (APIs, databases, IoT) and delivering data to data warehouses or lakes. The Automation Data Information Administrator will automate extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data is clean, standardized, and ready for analysis. This role is critical for implementing automated tests, anomaly detection, and real-time alerts to validate data integrity.
Responsibilities:
The Automation Data Information Administrator will create and manage end-to-end pipelines ingesting data from diverse sources including APIs, databases, and IoT while delivering data to data warehouses or lakes and building automated data integration solutions. This position requires automating extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data is clean, standardized, and ready for analysis while optimizing data workflows for performance. The Automation Data Information Administrator will implement automated tests, anomaly detection, and real-time alerts to validate data integrity and identify issues such as schema drift before they impact downstream systems. Responsibilities include scheduling and managing dependencies for data jobs using Apache Airflow or Prefect to ensure consistent, reliable data flows, as well as building self-healing pipelines that automatically retry failed tasks and scale resources based on demand to maintain operational resilience. The position involves running automated scripts to detect data anomalies, imputing missing values, and masking sensitive information through sanitization. The Automation Data Information Administrator will implement continuous integration and deployment for data pipelines to ensure safe and consistent code changes and will design, develop, or recommend integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected in accordance with mandated standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- FEMA EOD suitability or Current DHS or FEMA EOD preferred
- BS/BA + 15 years of applicable experience in data integration and automation
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data integration and automation
- Demonstrated expertise in Apache Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and automation tools
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks and observability systems
- Experience with APIs, databases, and data warehouse/lake technologies
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages
- Key Personnel position status - subject to Contracting Officer approval for replacement
Desired:
- Previous DHS or DoD experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of data catalog and metadata management solutions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with cybersecurity data sources and GRC tools

The proposed salary range for this position is:
