Position Overview

We are hiring a School Age ECE (Level 1, 2, or 3) for a contract position starting ASAP and ending June 2027. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.

Key Responsibilities

Implement an Emergent Curriculum tailored to children’s needs
Support emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioural development
Maintain daily documentation and attendance records
Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance
Collaborate with team members and specialists as needed

Qualifications

ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification (Nova Scotia)
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check & Child Abuse Registry
Current First Aid & CPR (Level B or C)
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
Experience with school-age children is an asset
