The Application Specialist aims to provide Imaging Solutions and Services (ISS) training and clinical support to internal parties (business development and marketing activities) as well as external customers (radiology sites and imaging professionals) on its territory.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop proper training materials and organize training including ISS knowledge and clinical application of our ISS products to external customers including all radiology departments and imaging professionals (Radiographers, Radiologists, and Nurses).
  • Assist the marketing team and local partners’ manager to pay regular visit to Key Accounts and KOLs of key markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at hospitals level e.g. Radiographers, Radiologists, Bio Meds, NUMs, Purchasing etc.
  • Assist regional digital activities in educational delivery to the local market.
  • Assist the marketing and local partners’ teams on clinical evaluation with the commissioning of purchased products once delivered.
  • Provide clinical support to the marketing and local partners’ teams as well as customers.
  • Help imaging professionals to set up the right protocols in liaison with their Imaging Equipment and department dedication in terms of application / organs.
  • Regular update of clinical and scientific papers related to our products and applications to handle customers’ queries or complaints
  • Regular update of new clinical protocols in collaboration with the Applications regional manager.
  • Support the marketing and local partners’ manager on new product launches and participation in medical congresses / conferences.
  • Seek and identify opportunities for our sales team to further develop and grow the business.
  • CT and MRI physics training to commercial teams including Marketing and Sales
  • Assist in providing webinars in MII (Medical Imaging Institute) and GAPTV as well as translating former MII lectures into the Korean language for all our educational content. 
  • Support and develop digital solution (Contrast and Care, Dose and Care) business plan with the product manager.
  • Demonstrate digital solutions to key customers and provide feedback on software performance, competition, products and market practices.

Other Requirements

  • Regional travel across responsible territory as required by the business and management.
  • Ad-hoc tasks required by the Company
  • Attend conferences and meetings in support of business activities, which may be scheduled out of usual business hours
  • Provide in-service support to customers after usual business hours, as required.

Educations & Experiences

  • University Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiological Technology or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in Radiology or medical imaging industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in MRI related field
  • Radiologist or Radiographer preferred

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of imaging protocols and procedures as well as OEM machine functionalities
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal would be plus
  • Experience in the education of HCPs (Nurses, Radiographer and Radiologists) in complex technical information
  • Previous experience in customer relationship management role
