Computershare Investor Services provides Transfer Agent services to corporate clients and their shareholders. The Relationship Manager will manage a portfolio of clients (based on experience level) and act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
A role you will love
The Assistant Vice President/Relationship Manager is the primary contact between Computershare Issuer Services and its corporate clients. Basic Assistant Vice President/Relationship Manager responsibilities include ensuring that clients receive the services they have purchased and that those services are delivered in a manner that meets and exceeds the clients’ expectations.
The Assistant Vice President/Relationship Manager also coordinates all major client activities and services by engaging with the client, with Computershare operational units and the entire organization as needed. In collaboration with the Sales team, the Assistant Vice President/Relationship Manager coordinates cross sells or up sells by introducing clients to additional Computershare products and services.
Other key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Build strong, professional relationships with assigned clients (portfolio based on experience)
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients
- Support client requests, special projects, issue resolution and transaction management
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of client service requests
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and maintain high service standards
- Maintain knowledge of company products, services and systems; communicate updates to clients
- Resolve client issues and coordinate with internal teams for timely closure
- Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes and advise clients accordingly
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities in partnership with Sales and Product teams
- Maintain accurate client data and records in internal systems
- Lead client business reviews and support strategic planning for key accounts
- Manage invoicing, funding and financial accuracy to minimize risk exposure
- Serve as the main contact for shareholder/stockholder meetings and related activities
- Support contract renewals in coordination with Finance, Legal and Sales
- Monitor revenue vs. forecast and ensure timely collections
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to drive service improvements
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development
- Perform additional responsibilities as required
What will you bring to the role?
- Broad understanding of technical, industry, product, and corporate services developed through training and experience. Prior client-facing experience preferred.
- Good understanding of team dynamics and how collective efforts drive business outcomes. Strong knowledge of products and services to support client growth and relationship development.
- Ability to manage and strengthen client relationships without direct people management. Contributes to client initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Resolves issues by applying business, technical and product knowledge within established policies and procedures.
- Directly influences day-to-day client relationships and service quality. Manages a client portfolio (up to approximately $2M revenue), ensuring satisfaction, retention and growth.
- Excellent communication skills to handle a range of client queries from basic to complex. Demonstrates professionalism, tact and diplomacy, and collaborates effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
Preferred: experience in account or project management.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is USD $81,968 - $122,952.
