Geotechnical Engineer

Geotechnical Engineer – Amaravati Project.

Location - Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

Position Purpose:

To lead and manage geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design support for urban infrastructure projects, ensuring technically sound, safe, and cost-effective solutions in compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and review geotechnical investigations including boreholes, field testing, and laboratory testing.

• Interpret soil and rock data and prepare detailed geotechnical investigation reports.

• Carry out design and review of shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, embankments, slopes, and ground improvement works.

• Provide technical inputs during design development and construction stages.

• Review contractor submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant codes.

• Identify geotechnical risks and recommend mitigation measures.

• Coordinate with structural, utility, transportation, and other multidisciplinary teams for integrated project delivery.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering.

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in urban infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of geotechnical design standards and analysis software.
