Legacy Application Support - Mainframe

job description: Lead and develop mainframe applications using COBOL 6, DB2, and CICS in a core banking environment. Own application design, technical solutioning, and impact analysis for banking systems. Provide hands‑on development and code reviews ensuring high quality and performance. Handle production support, including incident resolution, RCA, and defect fixes. Manage builds, version control, and deployments using ISPW/BMC. Track and manage incidents, changes, and tasks via ServiceNow and JIRA. Collaborate with business, QA, and infrastructure teams to meet SLAs. Support core banking functions such as accounts, transactions, payments, and loans. Ensure compliance with SDLC standards, security, and regulatory requirements. Mentor junior developers and act as technical lead for mainframe initiatives.
