Job Description
Work Flexibility: Hybrid
What you will do-
- Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software (preferably Creo).
- Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions.
- Generate manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.
- Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies.
- Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures; Transfer and translate drawings from one computer system to another as needed.
- Will provide CAD training to others and execute routing design projects, to include stack up analysis, part design, and related tasks.
- Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and fit requirements Prepare engineering change notices (ECN/ECO) and revision updates
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, BOMs, and design records and ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Support prototype development and design validation; cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will need-
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.
- Experience- 5 years- 7 years
- Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and mechanical design principles.
- Experience designing both plastic and metal components and proficient in CAD tools : Creo Parametric
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill and Teamcenter.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management and configuration control.
- Exposure to consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, automotive, or aerospace products.
Travel Percentage: 10%
