Operations Services Manager – PSD
Location: Brazil-Vespasiano
Mission of the Role
The Operations Services Manager will lead the commercial, operational, and technical service activities within the PSD business, ensuring exceptional customer support while optimizing resources, controlling costs, and driving operational excellence.
This role is responsible for managing service administration, product supervisors, contract management activities, and customer-facing operations while supporting business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage PSD service operations, ensuring efficient execution of technical and commercial activities.
- Oversee service administration processes, including workforce productivity, overtime management, work-in-progress (WIP) control, service orders, and billing activities.
- Manage Product Supervisors, Service Administration teams, and Contract Managers.
- Monitor and control operational costs, budgets, and cost centers under responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, efficiency, and cost control.
- Act as a key interface between Operations, Sales, Product Divisions, and Customers.
- Support the PSD Business Line Manager in developing and implementing business strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to increase market share and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper management and utilization of field assets and operational resources.
- Lead regular team meetings, performance discussions, and people development initiatives.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and investment recommendations.
- Promote compliance with Epiroc’s Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Integrated Management Systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Business Management and Service Operations.
- Proven People Management experience.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Experience
- Significant experience in commercial operations, service operations, aftermarket, or technical service environments.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience managing customer relationships and service delivery performance.
- Mining, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or related industry experience is highly preferred.
