Inspection Authorization (IA) - FAADescription
1. Performs all inspections, repairs and component changes ensuring all are accomplished in accordance with manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and/or FAA approved procedures.
2. Maintains all necessary work records, maintenance forms and log books.
3. Responsible to maintain the AC aviation fuel farm. Accepts fuel per AC policy from fuel vendor and ensures fuel quality.
4. Assists in cleaning aircraft and hangar.
5. Informs Angel One Communications Center and supervisor in the event of unscheduled maintenance.
6. Plans and coordinates maintenance activities with the Director of Maintenance.
7. Works with manufacturer’s representatives, parts vendors, repair facilities and the FAA.
8. Places safety as the top priority for aviation operations.
9. Assists Director of Maintenance in ordering and maintaining aircraft parts inventory and vendor tooling.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
