About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Senior Endpoints Engineer, you will:
As a senior engineer focused on JAMF Pro and JAMF Connect at Thomson Reuters, you will drive how the Mac platform is architected, rolled out, operated, and supported. The work spans:
- End-to-end JAMF leadership: Leading JAMF Pro and JAMF Connect implementations from design through rollout to BAU, including pilot-to-global migration programs and controlled change.
- Mac authentication architecture: Defining and implementing Mac authentication strategy — Platform SSO, SSO, MFA, and identity integration with Entra ID or Okta.
- Enrollment, lifecycle, and automation: Designing enrollment workflows (ADE and re-enrollment), configuration profiles, compliance policies, patching, and self-service capabilities across the macOS fleet.
- Senior technical support: Acting as L3 escalation for complex macOS issues; developing support artifacts and coaching L1/L2 engineers and the HCL service desk partner to sustain BAU quality.
- Security and IAM partnership: Driving macOS endpoint hardening (FileVault, Gatekeeper, CIS benchmarks) and partnering with Security and IAM on conditional access and identity integration.
- ServiceNow and Service Desk integration: Building workflows between JAMF Pro and ServiceNow for request fulfilment and incident routing; contributing to Now Assist workflows for macOS.
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Senior Engineer if you have the following required qualifications.
- 6–10 years in endpoint engineering, with strong hands-on experience in JAMF Pro and JAMF Connect — non-negotiable.
- Advanced macOS enterprise management: MDM enrollment, configuration profiles, PPPC, kernel and system extension policies.
- Deep troubleshooting expertise, including L3 escalation for complex macOS issues across performance, identity, compliance, and platform behavior.
- Identity integration with Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta — SSO, MFA, conditional access.
- Strong scripting and API experience — Bash, Python, or Swift for automation and remediation; hands-on with the JAMF Pro API for integrations and reporting.
- Proven delivery track record at scale — pilot-to-global rollouts and migration program execution.
- Strong communication and coaching skills for working across IT, Security, IAM, and L1/L2 support partners.
- Experience integrating Intune and JAMF in cross-platform endpoint estates.
- Hands-on experience with Platform SSO (PSSO) and password less authentication on macOS.
- Exposure to Nexthink for remote actions and endpoint analytics on macOS.
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Relevant certifications — JAMF 200/300/400 or Apple Certified IT Professional.
