Job Description

Join us as a working student at the interface of project management, innovation, and European innovation policy. In this role, you will closely support program leadership in steering complex, publicly funded programs consisting of multiple individual projects in the areas of Radar Systems and Infotainment Audio Systems.

You will be part of a team coordinating large-scale European initiatives and shaping future project opportunities, gaining first-hand insight into how advanced technology developments are mapped into European innovation programs translated into funded innovation programs. The position offers a unique opportunity to work directly on strategic topics and contribute to the successful execution of high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined portfolio of subsidy projects from setup through execution and completion.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to maintain assignments and ensure alignment with decisions made in internal R&D project meetings.
  • Drive adherence to NXP subsidy business processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Monitor effort and cost against plan and forecast; identify and resolve deviations proactively.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality internal reports on project progress, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with technical leaders, finance, project support offices, and the central subsidy team to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Support continuous improvement of data-driven subsidy management processes.

Job Qualification:

  • Student for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • High attention to detail and confidence in managing complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Copilot) or similar business intelligence solutions.
  • Quick learner and pattern recognition. Adaptability to legacy systems and interest in process improvement innovation.
