Senior Manager eCommerce(Planning & Operations)

 

                     

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Drive eCom sales for adidas through official sites & 3rd party platforms


The eCommerce Lead is responsible for the holistic ownership and management of the eCommerce channel, including the official website and 3rd party platforms. The role covers end-to-end accountability for trading performance, traffic generation, CRM, product & buying, and the overall customer journey, while matrix-managing business targets and cross-functional teams (CX, Ops, Marketing, BI) to drive sustainable growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end eCommerce channel performance, including website and 3rd party platforms, with full accountability for sales, traffic, conversion, CRM and customer experience.
  • Lead day-to-day eCommerce operations – from product buying alignment, targets, site content & sequencing, to posting sales and ensuring optimal stock availability for the Online Store.
  • Drive online merchandising strategy in close collaboration with Buying and Brand teams to maximize engagement, sell-through and commercial impact for  adidas.
  • Accountable for site traffic performance across CRM, marketing channels and performance initiatives, working cross-functionally with relevant teams to drive optimization of the funnel based on data and insights.Matrix-manage business KPIs across functions including CRM, Traffic, CX and Operations to ensure alignment with overall eCommerce targets.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Retail and Wholesale teams to align brand strategy, assortment and omni-channel execution.
  • Ensure the website and digital platforms operate efficiently, proactively resolving issues to maximize sales opportunities and deliver best-in-class customer experience.
  • Maximize category performance through attractive and data-driven digital promotions, jointly aligned with Retail, Wholesale and Brand teams.
  • Own the delivery of eCommerce financial goals and trading plans for the Online Store.
  • Identify, manage and optimize partnerships with relevant 3rd party platforms for adidas.
  • Initiate and lead cross-functional projects to enhance the online customer journey and drive business growth.
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis and provide strategic recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•       5+ years of eCommerce experience in Israel. Experience in sports industry would be ideal.

•       Experience managing eCommerce promotions and site operations for both official sites & 3rd party platforms

•       A passion for numbers and outstanding analytical skills to drive business/ marketing results, transforming data to actionable insight and recommendations

•       Well-organized, detailed minded, result oriented, problem solver, and able to manage multiple tasks

•       Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure, as well as cooperate well with team and stakeholders to achieve company goals

•       Strong spoken and written English

•       Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
