Machine Operator I
Job Summary
The Machine Operator I is responsible for setting up and operating production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role ensures that materials and supplies are available and maintained to support efficient production operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up work area and equipment prior to production
- Operate and feed machinery in a safe, efficient manner following established procedures
- Stack finished products according to specifications; may cover, label, or band products when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform pre-shift/start-up equipment inspections and report any issues or concerns
- Monitor materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Accurately maintain production and operational records as required
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures, policies, and standards
- Participate in safety initiatives, continuous improvement (CI) programs, and team meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembly
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $16.50 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
