Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:30am
Shift Differential: $2.00/hr

We are seeking an HPP Technician (High Pressure Processing) to support the operation, maintenance, and sanitation of our High Pressure Processing equipment and production systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who are eager to develop hands-on technical skills while ensuring equipment reliability, food safety compliance, and operational efficiency across critical processing operations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HPP machines, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.
Diagnose and resolve PLC, VFD, motor control, and instrumentation issues.
Perform system calibrations, sensor alignments, and component replacements to maintain precision.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMPs, and FDA standards for food processing.
Work independently while collaborating with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food processing or logistics.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting (480V, 3-phase systems), PLCs, and control systems.
Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and high-pressure systems.
Ability to diagnose and repair motor controls, sensors, relays, and circuit breakers.
Familiarity with CMMS software (e.g., Maximo) for maintenance tracking and documentation.
Comfortable working in a cold storage environment and at heights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HPP technology, aseptic processing, or high-pressure food safety systems.
Background in automation, industrial robotics, or SCADA systems.
Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and food industry regulatory requirements.
Certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration systems.
