We are looking for a creative and technically forward-thinking AI Designer to join our Game Development team at Booming Games. As a studio at the forefront of online casino game creation, we are embracing AI-augmented workflows to accelerate our creative output, raise quality standards, and push the boundaries of visual storytelling in slot game design.
You will work closely with our Art Directors, Artists, and Game Producers to integrate AI-generated content thoughtfully and responsibly into our visual development process.
This position is ideal for a designer who is artistically strong, genuinely excited by AI tooling, and eager to help shape how a leading iGaming studio evolves its creative processes.

Quality & Compliance
- Use generative AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly Runway, Leonardo.ai) to produce concept art, mood boards, and visual references aligned with game briefs.
- Generate and refine character designs, background art, symbol sets, and UI components to support the art team’s production pipeline.
- Prepare AI-generated assets for handoff to 2D artists and animators, ensuring consistency with game visual style and technical requirements.
- Explore and evaluate new AI tools and workflows, recommending adoption where they add genuine value.
Creative Collaboration
- Work alongside Art Directors, Lead Artists, and Game Producers to align AI-generated output with each game’s creative vision.
- Participate in game concept kick-offs, providing early visual ideation using AI tools to speed up the pre-production phase.
- Provide design support across multiple simultaneous game projects, adapting visual direction to different themes and audience segments.
Workflow & Process Development
- Help define and document AI design workflows, prompt libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency and reusability across the studio.
- Contribute to the responsible and ethical use of AI in creative production, including awareness of copyright, IP, and model training considerations.
- Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to other designers looking to integrate AI tools into their practice.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all AI-assisted outputs meet Booming Games’ visual quality standards before handoff or publication.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory considerations for game art across key jurisdictions (e.g. responsible gaming imagery standards, age-appropriateness guidelines).
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, concept art, or visual design within a digital entertainment, gaming, or media environment.
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with one or more generative AI design tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, Runway, or equivalent).
- Strong foundational artistic skills: composition, colour theory, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to translate written briefs and art direction into compelling AI-assisted visual outputs.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong personal quality bar.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have
- Experience designing for online casino games, slot games, or other regulated iGaming products.
- Knowledge of game art pipelines and asset handoff requirements (e.g. spritesheets, layered files, animation-ready assets).
- Experience with motion graphics or basic animation (After Effects, Spine, or similar).
- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI model conditioning techniques.
- Familiarity with version control and asset management systems (e.g. Git, Perforce, or equivalent).
- Interest in or awareness of responsible gaming, age-gating, and content compliance in regulated markets.
