Job Description

Resumen RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, organize and direct maintenance activities for the plant to meet established plant objectives. Responsabilidades Serve as a teacher, coach and advisor to facilitate teamwork and continued employee development. 1. Daily record maintenance calls, make work assignments for all maintenance personnel. 2. Complete preventative maintenance activities in accordance with agreed upon goals. Complete service request within agreed upon deadlines. 3. Provide complete and clear instructions when giving work assignments. Assure tools and equipment are in proper working order, and responsible for security of departmental equipment. 4. Take corrective action and remedy substandard performance and deviation from Company policies and procedures occurring within the department. 5. Communicate to employees regarding standards and expectations, quality and quantity of work performed. 6. Interpret labor agreement in situations affecting department and grievance resolutions in line with contractual obligations and management rights. 7. Identify and correct root causes of poor productivity, efficiency, and attainment of department objectives. 8. Maintain a safe work atmosphere and clean working conditions. 9. Effectively communicate with supervision and other maintenance shifts. REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and general maintenance operations. • 3+ maintenance experience. • High school diploma; two year associate degree in technical area preferred. • Equipment/Machines/Tools/Work Aids • Familiar with new manufacturing equipment or processes.
