This position is responsible for gathering, cleansing, inputting, delivering, and auditing various types of digital marketing content & data into the company’s content syndication platform (PIM – Product Information Management & DAM – Digital Asset Management systems). The incumbent will also support the PIM Administrator and DAM Administrator in the execution of strategic activities related to system integrations & maintenance, asset lifecycle management & governance, and change management.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally, an understanding of data entry and management principles, and the ability to support data syndication initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Administration & Maintenance
- Gather, upload, and enrich various types of digital marketing content into the company’s PIM & DAM systems.
- Manage and maintain the DAM’s asset catalog and the PIM’s product catalog.
- Identify and communicate user support & troubleshooting instances to the PIM & DAM administrators.
- Support the PIM & DAM administrators on required PIM & DAM integration, user interface, taxonomy, metadata, administration, and maintenance activities.
External Facing Data Strategy
- Collaborate with key internal (e.g., marketing, sales, regulatory, food studios, etc.) & external stakeholders (e.g., customer data teams) to administer product attribution to meet customer data requirements.
- Support attribute mapping & formulas in PIM system customer channels to ensure company data is correctly matched to customer requirements.
- Publish approved assets from DAM to PIM and downstream to customers & data pools recipients.
- Work directly in customer or third-party data portals to ensure fulfillment of customer data requirements.
- Audit customer and third-party data portals and websites to ensure accurate and consistent delivery of digital marketing content.
- Support the PIM & DAM administrators in the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.
Asset & Content Lifecycle Management & Syndication
- Support the PIM & DAM administrators in the setup, maintenance, and management company digital assets throughout their lifecycles.
- Support execution of the enterprise DAM & PIM content management strategies.
Project & Change Management
- Scope, scale, and lead assigned data management and syndications projects.
- Work cross-functionally with internal (e.g., marketing, sales, regulatory, food studios, etc.) and external (e.g., creative agencies) data stakeholders to achieve assigned project goals and objectives.
- Support the PIM & DAM administrators in the creation and dissemination of system documentation and user training.
- Manage and track project tasks, workflows, and issue resolution using Jira to ensure timely delivery and cross-team alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of experience in data entry, data quality, data management, or data governance
- Demonstrated pattern of initiative
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Well-organized and proven attention to detail
- Track record of success working independently on assigned projects
- Proven experience working collaboratively with technical and/or marketing/sales team members

Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in data management, marketing, ecommerce, computer science, information technology, or related field
- Experience with PIM, DAM, and/or content management data pools (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo, Aprimo)
LOCATION: Corporate Office Austin, MN
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Content Syndication Technician role is between $20.25 - $28.50 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
