Van Driver

Job Summary
Providing employees transportation to and from work you are playing a critical role in enabling people who are blind or visually impaired to achieve greater independence, personal and professional development, and gainful employment.

·         Responsible ensuring employees' safe arrival to work and home
·         Responsible for timely arrival and departure
Supervisory Responsibilities
·         None.
Required Skills and Abilities

Valid NC Driver License
Able to accommodate door to door pickup for IOB employees

·         Must have a pristine driving record
·         Ability to follow all state and federal transportation laws
·         Able to work transportation times 7:30 am-4:00 pm

Education and Experience
·         10 plus years driving experience

Physical Requirements
·         Sit, stand, walk, assist employees, drive, step in and out of van
