Job Description
Business Analyst Hartford, Connecticut, US Business Analysts bridge the gap between business and IT by being able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting an application or multiple applications within a Delivery Team and her/his core
include eliciting and documenting both business, functional and non-functional
, supporting quality assurance testing and UAT, and triaging incoming issues, defects, and enhancement requests
Senior Business Analysts will also provide senior-level support for projects that impact the application(s) s/he supports

SHARE your talent We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Relevant years of proven experience in business analysis within the insurance market, with preference given to those who have worked in technology
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to present information in an influencing manner at the leadership level
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with the business
Ability to extract and document business
, to support the delivery of a technical solution
This should include the ability to plan for and facilitate business
workshops
Desired Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge on policy admin / Rate quote bind systems & ceded reinsurance Insurance background – Policy knowledge specifically Must have proficient experience with various Analyst techniques e.g., User interviewing / Workshop facilitation / Business Process Modelling / Writing a business requirement document or set of Epics & User Stories
Significant experience in supporting all phases of the software development life cycle
Experience with different SDLC methodologies, with a preference for Agile Scrum
Proven planning and organization skills, with an ability to work resiliently, planning their analysis work, prioritizing workload, preparing in advance, and setting realistic timescales
Adaptable to new/different strategies, programs, technologies, practices, cultures, etc
Comfortable with change, able to easily make transitions

range for this position is USD $ 114,500-180,300 Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location
