Hospitalist / Nocturnist Physician

Rome Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist or Nocturnist to join our close-knit, community-focused medical team in Rome, NY. Position Highlights
- 7-On / 7-Off Block Schedule supporting work-life balance
- Competitive Base Salary: $270,000–$325,000 annually (based on role and experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality inpatient care to adult patients
- Manage admissions, discharges, and daily patient care with an emphasis on continuity and communication
- Collaborate closely with nursing, case management, emergency medicine, and specialty services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and best practices
- For nocturnists: provide overnight admissions and cross-coverage with appropriate backup and support
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure
- Commitment to community-based care and patient-centered medicine
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- New graduates and experienced physicians welcome
