JOB SUMMARY The Food & Beverage Cashier provides warm, attentive guest service while accurately processing payments and supporting smooth front‑of‑house operations within the assigned outlet. This role greets and seats guests as needed, assists with guest inquiries, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and ensures all transactions are handled in accordance with departmental and company standards. Responsibilities vary by location, and the Cashier contributes to a positive, energetic atmosphere while upholding all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and promoting the values and service culture of Caesars Entertainment.
When assigned to the Employee Dining Room (EDR), the Food & Beverage Cashier may perform additional back‑of‑house and food‑service tasks. These include assisting behind the serving line, supporting basic food preparation, and ensuring proper cooking methods, temperatures, sanitation, and storage of prepared items and leftovers. The role helps maintain efficient EDR operations while upholding all food‑safety and quality standards.
When assigned to Room Service, the Food & Beverage Cashier is responsible for managing the cash register bankroll, processing all payments and room charges, and maintaining accurate logs and charge records. The role requires strong menu knowledge, accurate order‑taking, and timely processing of guest requests, including VIP comp orders. Additional duties include verifying guest information, dispatching and tracking deliveries, coordinating tray pick‑ups, and assisting with routine inspections and inventories of room‑service equipment and supplies. The position supports smooth in‑room dining operations while ensuring prompt, professional guest service.
