Job Summary
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees across Central Operations HVAC Business Unit, Sales, and Digital Marketing. This role drives workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, change management, and HR operational excellence.
The Sr. HRBP collaborates closely with senior leadership to align people strategies with business objectives while fostering a high-performing, compliant, and employee-focused culture across multiple locations and regions.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Collaborate with executive and operational leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable HR strategies.
  • Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent optimization, and team effectiveness initiatives.
  • Influence leadership decisions through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Support transformation initiatives, restructuring efforts, and change management activities.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, accountability, and employee development.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams on sensitive employment matters.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning
  • Support workforce planning initiatives for critical and leadership roles.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Drive succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Identify workforce capability gaps and implement development solutions.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to support employee growth and career progression.
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Lead initiatives that enhance employee experience, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Analyze employee feedback, turnover trends, and engagement data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration between employees and leadership.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards, Learning & Development, HR Operations, Payroll, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Support policy development and process improvement initiatives across the organization.
Metrics & Analytics
  • Analyze workforce metrics including turnover, retention, engagement, absenteeism, and productivity trends.
  • Develop reports and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Utilize workforce analytics to support informed business decisions.
Scope & Organizational Support
  • Supports leaders and employees across the Central Operations HVAC Business Unit, Sales, and Digital Marketing.
  • Works closely with senior leaders and managers across multiple functions.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required.
Experience
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience or strategic HR leadership role.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-site, or distributed workforces.
  • Strong background in employee relations, organizational development, and change management.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail, or multi-location environments preferred.
Certifications
Preferred:
  • SHRM-SCP
  • SPHR

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong conflict resolution and investigative skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools and technology to enhance HR processes, workforce analytics, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms, AI-enabled HR technologies, and Microsoft Office applications.
