Responsibilities for Office Building Security Guard
- Record all events in the Logbook
- Assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment.
- Respond to incident for Tenants if required
- Engage in visible deterrence through their presence and adhering to security procedures
- Site patrol, locking and unlocking building, investigating and reporting incidents and hazards.
- Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
- Take actions during emergency situations as per Garda world and USB protocols
- Performing environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises e.t.c
- Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
Qualifications for Office Building Security Guard
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
- Customer service oriented
- Must be able to work Afternoon shifts
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
