We are looking for a Junior Actuary to join our actuarial team starting in September 2026.
Responsibilities:
Your role within our team includes:
- Providing actuarial support to the financial audit team, including:
- Review of technical provisions under Local GAAP
- Solvency II audit activities
- Review of IFRS 17 financial statements
- Managing and calculating technical provisions for reinsurance captives, being a specific feature of the Luxembourg market
- Preparation of audit plans, request for information
- Attending meetings with clients, drafting minutes and audit reports
- Participating in consulting projects related to Solvency II, IFRS 17 and actuarial modernization.
Your profile:
- You hold a master’s degree in actuarial science or equivalent
- Previous working experience as an actuary
- You are fluent in French and English, German or any other languages is an asset
- You have strong IT skills: VBA, R, Python, SAS, etc.
- Your qualities: critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail
- You have strong communication skills both written and oral
