Note: This position will report to the Division Director/PI. This is a hybrid position with up to 2 telework days. Additional telework day may be considered after successful completion of probation.
Primary Duties
Study Coordination and Management
Serve as lead coordinator for assigned research studies, managing communication with program leads and stakeholders
Support IRB applications and amendments with oversight from the Principal Investigator
Contact potential study participants, explain research objectives, and follow study protocols to ensure participant safety and confidentiality
Coordinate interviews with study participants.
Conduct qualitative interviews with hospital leadership and participants following IRB-approved protocols to assess intervention effectiveness.
Data Management and Analysis
Design and establish REDCap data collection surveys for research projects, ensuring data quality, security, and streamlined collection processes
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis for internal reports, synthesizing data to identify key findings and trends
Maintain research database accuracy by conducting regular verification analyses and updates
Manage study files according to research protocol and institutional requirements
Ensure data integrity, privacy and confidentiality throughout the research process
Research Activities
Contribute to comprehensive scoping and literature reviews using systematic review software (e.g., Covidence)
Screen studies and perform systematic data extraction for evidence synthesis
Review literature, documents, and revise tables and figures as needed
Distribute communications to research partners and resource programs to confirm up-to-date information\\
Assist with preparation of internal reports and research manuscripts
Collaboration and Communication
Review and contribute as author on research manuscripts, providing feedback, data analysis and interpretation, and findings to ensure scientific rigor and publication readiness
Additional Responsibilities
Additional duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator or research team
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Health Science, or related discipline. Coursework in infectious diseases, epidemiology, biostatistics preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES :Knowledge of position requirements. Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Skill in effective use of applicable technology/systems. Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently. Salary Range: $59,500 - $66,000, Commensurate with education and experience.
