Position Overview

The Client Data Insights Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights for our clients. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure data accuracy, optimize data processes, and support business decisions with data-driven insights.

  • Analyze and QA data management systems, data feeds, data processes, and databases. 
  • Review incoming requirements, completed technical tasks, and reporting. 
  • Translate data insights from client data, product output, operational/service date, etc... into practical implications and opportunities for clients. 
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding requirements and data insights. 
  • Monitor all production databases, including data sources, data structures, data organization, and data optimization. 
  • Perform data analysis and corrections as required. 
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations for data processes, summarization, and insights. 
  • Create a Book of Business Norms, Insights and Recommendations. 
  • Reviews and analyzes specific data elements for accuracy and quality assurance. 
  • Identifies, verifies and analyzes data defects/issues and communicates with team to determine the root cause for issue resolution. 
  • Create SQL queries for reporting and support troubleshooting. 
  • Provide analytical support and conduct data mining/complex multiple variable analysis. 
  • Oversee data QA functions to ensure the accuracy of business rules defined and data integrity. 
  • Proactively identifies issues and trends through data analysis and manipulation. 
  • Supports initiatives for data integrity and normalization. 
  • Administers Data Mart and Data Warehouse via administration tools. 
  • Responsible for initiating ad-hoc data process jobs 
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of alerts and client reports for data accuracy 
  • Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to Zelis standards regarding privacy. 

 

What You Will bring:

·        SQL: Proficiency in creating and managing SQL queries. 

·        Power BI: Experience with data visualization and reporting. 

·        Snowflake: Familiarity with this cloud-based data warehousing platform. 

·        Excel: Advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis. 

·        Salesforce: Experience with client enablement and data management. 

  • Highly organized and results driven.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ability to work through others without direct supervisory responsibility within departments and across the organization.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interface with team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience in the healthcare or financial services industry. 
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. 
  • Familiarity with additional data visualization tools like Tableau. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing excellent service.
