Analysing and evaluating procurement markets for the purchasing area concerneCarry out group-wide, international requirement analysis Bundling requirements and carrying out tenders Carrying out enquiries, quotation comparisons, evaluations and QAF analysis for series and future series material of the category, considering price, quality, delivery performance and technology Negotiating contracts with suppliers Preparation of elaborations for decision-making for the award of contracts in various internal committees (e.g.International Sourcing Table, project team) Coordination with all departments involved, e.g. project purchasing, category management, development, controlling, legal department, accounting, logistics Carry out process and value analysis with the selected suppliers Participation in make-or-buy decisions Cooperation in supplier evaluations Leading or participating in escalation talks
