Job Description
Reporting to the Superintendent, Health, Safety and Training, the Occupational Health Nurse provides first aid/primary care, wellness programs, occupational and personal health consultation, health education, emergency services and workplace rehabilitation to all employees. Work is performed under general direction and assigned in terms of specific objectives to be achieved. The role requires considerable initiative, decision making and judgment in delivering results. Work is assessed in terms of attainment of objectives, adherence to policies and procedures in the occupational health department.
