As an Intern reporting to the Energy and Infrastructure General Supervisor – Project Lead, you will be part of  the Energy and Infrastructure Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

 

  • Support E&I project team with various requests related to site infrastructure systems.

  • Work alongside engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring clear and continuous communication.

  • Lead projects with a focus on improving site infrastructure, building compliance, and safety standards.

  • Develop cost estimates and manage project budgets, ensuring all items are within approved limits.

  • Establish on-going project deliverables and present results to key stakeholders.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings, updating on key developments and risks.

  • Support the Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) team in day-to-day operations.

What You Need To Succeed:

Note that the official working language at Meliadine is English.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest; flights departing from all communities in the Kivalliq region, Mirabel or Val-d’Or, Quebec;

  • Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
