This Professional Rater I position is full-time in the Department of Psychiatry.The rater will assist study coordinators in numerous phases of multiple studies led by Dr. Chad Sylvester.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer behavioral assessments for participants age 4 months to 12 years, including set-up, providing age-appropriate instructions for child/parent, and entering data in a timely manner.
- Screen, consent, and schedule participants via phone and in-person as research protocols dictate.
- Assist with the administration of fMRIs for infant and child participants. Guide parents and children through the process by providing thorough instructions and responding appropriately to subject concerns.
- Administrative tasks including organizing and managing subject databases, data entry, tracking and ordering supplies, etc.
- Write and modify IRB protocols.
- Interact with children of all ages in various experimental settings
- Assist with the training and supervision of student volunteers.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
- Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).
- Some evening and weekend availability is required for this position.

$17.34 - $25.40 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.Questions
