Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate customer service while resolving customer concerns professionally
  • Supervise and coordinate Front End operations, including cashiers, courtesy clerks, and service desk associates
  • Monitor customer traffic and adjust staffing to maintain service levels
  • Ensure front end standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance are maintained
  • Manage cash handling processes, including tills, pickups, loans, refunds, and approvals
  • Support and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Perform register operations and serve as backup cashier as needed
  • Conduct store walks, delegate tasks, and follow up to ensure completion
  • Handle operational issues such as scan errors, system issues, and front-end emergencies
  • Promote a positive team environment and ensure associates present a professional image

  • Front End operations, including POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Company policies, safety standards, and sanitation guidelines
  • Basic math, weights and measures, and cash accountability practices
  • Product awareness and general store operations

     

     

    Abilities

  • Ability to supervise and direct teams effectively
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot registers, scanners, and related equipment
  • Ability to analyze situations and make sound decisions quickly
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to ~55 lbs
  • Ability to maintain awareness of safety risks and respond appropriately

     

     

    Other requirements: 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress retail environment
  • Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and adherence to company policies
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and uphold grooming standards
