Job Description
In this position, you will own the end-to-end strategy for building a scalable seller ecosystem from the ground up, each with distinct industrial clusters, seller profiles, and category dynamics. You will develop differentiated, city-specific playbooks where none exist today, working with sellers ranging from OEM/factory-type manufacturers to emerging cross-border brands to help them succeed on Amazon's global marketplaces. You will also drive adoption of Amazon's paid service offerings, identifying seller needs and matching them with the right solutions to accelerate their growth and maximize revenue generation.
You will lead a team of ICs and will represent Amazon to C-level external partners, make high-judgment trade-offs on resource allocation and market prioritization, and take full ownership of delivering against growth targets.
This role provides significant autonomy to develop original strategies, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and fast-moving environment where you will navigate ambiguity, counter competitive pressure, and build sustainable growth engines across multiple markets simultaneously.
Key job responsibilities
-Define and execute the multi-city seller recruitment and business development strategy, building sustainable and repeatable growth engines across distinct markets
-Drive paid service sales and adoption by identifying high-potential sellers, articulating value propositions, and converting them into Amazon's paid offerings to accelerate seller success and revenue growth
-Lead, coach, and develop a team, setting high performance standards and creating clear career progression paths in a rapidly scaling organization
-Build and lead a cross-functional virtual team, driving alignment and resource efficiency across TR, AB, STR, PBD, Field MKT, Transparency, and ESM
-Represent Amazon to C-level external stakeholders including local government, industry associations, and strategic service providers to expand Amazon's reach and influence in the territory
-Drive data-driven performance management, pipeline health monitoring, and continuous improvement of recruitment and activation mechanisms
Amazon Global Selling is seeking a strategic and results-driven Region Development Manager to lead seller recruitment, business development, and paid service adoption across Guangdong Non-Shenzhen territory.
- 8+ years of prior work in business development, sales, or sales-engineering, preferably in the technology, internet and e-commerce sectors experience
- Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
- Experience with data analysis (including advanced Excel and database analysis)
- Experience in sales team management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in e-commerce
