POLICE LIEUTENANT (PROMOTIONAL)

This employee normally is responsible for the efficient operation of a relief, section, or unit in conformity with the established policies.  Duties include planning, organizing, and directing activities of the relief, section, or unit.  The Lieutenant must maintain harmonious relationships with other segments of the department, allied criminal justice agencies, and the public.  Performs related duties as required.
