POOL MONITOR

POOL MONITOR This position may require working a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends.  Must be able to work other than normal hours and be available to work as scheduled based upon the needs of the department.   May be required to work in outdoor elements such as sun, heat and rain. Responsible for observing participant behaviors inside pool area and surrounding area recognizing escalating individuals and groups of individuals, evaluating and interceding as needed including calling 911 to maintain a safe environment for participants and staff.    Assists pool staff with Department of Recreation rules enforcement.
