Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to support the daily operations of our culinary team. This position assists in overseeing food preparation, maintaining quality and sanitation standards, supervising team members, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about culinary excellence. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and support daily kitchen operations across resort dining outlets. Ensure food is prepared and presented according to Omni standards and recipes. Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and developing culinary team members. Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Support inventory management, ordering, and proper food storage procedures. Assist with minimizing waste and controlling food costs. Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. Address operational challenges and assist in resolving guest concerns when needed. Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. ServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environments.
