Objective
The Total Rewards Lead plays a strategic and operational leadership role in designing, delivering, and governing the organization’s global compensation and benefits programs. The role ensures competitive, equitable, and business-aligned total rewards practices that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. By partnering with HR, Vertical and Enabler business leaders, and external market sources, the Total Rewards Lead drives pay governance, process excellence, and data-driven decision-making across global and regional rewards initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy, Design & Governance
Leads the development and governance of compensation structures, job architecture, and pay frameworks across regions. Oversees annual merit, bonus, and promotion cycles, ensuring process accuracy, fairness, and alignment with internal and external market dynamics. Advises leadership on compensation decisions backed by analytics and benchmarking.
Benefits Program Management
Designs, manages, and evaluates benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and employee well-being. Oversees vendor partnerships, cost utilization reviews, and enhancements that align with business priorities and employee needs. Ensures smooth communication, execution, and continuous improvement of benefits offerings.
Market Intelligence, Benchmarking & Analytics
Conducts industry benchmarking, survey participation, and advanced pay analytics to guide compensation structures and reward decisions. Monitors market trends to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness. Builds reward dashboards and insights to support HR and leadership decision-making.
Rewards Governance, Compliance & Audit
Maintains strong governance for compensation and benefits processes, ensuring policy consistency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. Conducts periodic audits and compliance checks, minimizing risk and ensuring equitable application of reward practices across geographies.
Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory Support
Serves as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and People Leaders on compensation, benefits, job evaluation, and pay decisions. Simplifies complex reward concepts and enables better business decision-making through strong communication and influence.
Process Excellence & Digital Enablement
Drive continuous improvement through streamlined processes, modern HR technologies, and automation. Improves cycle execution, data accuracy, and overall employee and manager experience. Enhances digital tools utilized for compensation planning and benefits administration.
Work Experience
Preferred profile:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards
- Experience in Leading Complex Compensation Cycles, Designing Rewards Programs & Structures, Driving Rewards Analytics & Benchmarking, Strengthening Governance & Compliance
- Working knowledge of statutory compliance related to compensation and benefits
- Good communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Strong Excel, analytics, and data interpretation skills
