Mechanical Engineering Designer, MEP

Mechanical Engineering Designer, MEP: Halff is looking for a Mechanical Designer supporting our Mechanical Engineering department in San Antonio, TX . The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with HVAC air and hydronic concepts and must be capable of performing routine calculations, equipment layout, basic equipment under supervision of senior staff. Experience with Trane Trace 3D, Revit and Associates Degree in related field is required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Working knowledge of IMC and other related codes required. Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems, set-up drawing sheets in REVIT, develop equipment schedules, and run basic calculations. Assisting in estimated project construction cost and specification writing.
