Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Water Resources
Job Description
RESPEC, a nationally recognized, 100% employee-owned engineering consulting company is seeking an engineer to support design and project management services at our Dallas, Texas office, located in Richardson. This role will contribute to a wide range of water resources engineering projects including, planning, designing, management, and specialty services, and may contribute to other civil engineering projects.
We are looking for a collaborative team player who consistently produces high-quality work, meets project requirements, delivers on schedule, and effectively manages multiple priorities.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field
- A Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to obtain within six months
- A minimum of 10 years of experience designing engineering projects for public sector clients, including 3 years with project management responsibilities
- Skilled in coordinating with multiple clients, review agencies, and design team members on an ongoing basis
- Proficient with proposal writing, budgeting, and project financial management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Additional preferred experience includes the following:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Established relationships with Texas clients
- Participation in business development activities
- Managing teams of engineers and developing early career engineers
- Developing and guiding construction plan packages and/or stormwater master planning studies
- AutoCAD/Civil3D and GIS
- Practical application of the various hydrology/hydraulics software, including HEC-RAS (1D/2D preferred), HEC-HMS, SWMM, and HY-8
- Construction oversight of project installations
Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100% employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
