Job Description
The purpose of the class is to perform complex technical and professional work in the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of the Hampton Sheriff’s Office Management Information System. This position administers all aspects of the agency’s local area network (LAN), coordinates technological needs across all Sheriff’s Office departments, and ensures the security and integrity of sensitive information systems and data for authorized users. Work is performed under limited supervision and requires a high level of technical expertise, independent judgment, and discretion.
