FT - Direct Support Professional (DSP) Support Services/ Howard County Rate of Pay $22/hr*   We are seeking a Full Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.   Support a man in the Columbia area with activities at home and in the community. Help him work on independent living skills around the home (meals, cleaning up, laundry, etc.) and learning his new community. Build connections with neighbors and explore resources that are local.   Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.   This position is: This position is: 32 hours/ week Sunday 6p-10 Monday 6p-10p Tuesday 6p-10p Wednesday 6p-10p Thursday 10a-10p Friday 6p-10p The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.   Some lift and transfer may be required. Paid training, including CPR/First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification! Eligible candidates must have a high school degree/GED and a current driver’s license with less than three points on the driving record. Rate of pay *$22/hr.* * Regular Base rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
