Job Description
Provides expert-level legal representation as a court-appointed attorney for defendants charged with criminal offenses. Represents indigent clients in the most complex, high-profile, and difficult criminal defense cases. Serves in a senior and lead capacity, providing substantial guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to other attorneys. Exercises independent judgment with minimal supervision and assists management in overseeing legal operations, case strategy, and attorney development within the Public Defender’s Office.
