Under the direction of the Director and the Chief of Investigations in the Medicaid Fraud Control Bureau, the Deputy Chief of Investigation is responsible for providing guidance and supervision to a team of personnel who are engaged in conducting both criminal and civil investigations into fraud, waste, and abuse allegations against Medicaid providers in the State of Illinois.   The Deputy Chief of Investigations provides overall direction to investigations assigned to their team.
