Cloud Systems Engineer (Active TS/SCI Required)

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure that supports our engineering and technology initiatives. You will work closely with development teams, operations, and security specialists to ensure robust and efficient cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support engineering and technology workloads
• Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and cost-efficiency
• Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Implement security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions to enhance system capabilities

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or systems administration
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system monitoring in cloud environments
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
