Job Description
Under the direction of the Manager Building Service, the incumbent installs, repairs and maintains carpet and tile areas in all properties. High School diploma or trade school certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must possess working knowledge of tools, supplies and equipment and basic mechanical aptitude as well as teamwork skills. Position requires regularly walking, kneeling, crouching, lying in prone positions and working in small, cramped spaces. Ability to lift/carry/handle weights of up to 50 lbs; accurate senses of smell and touch required. Ability to work near loud, vibrating tools such as air compressors and jackhammers. Must possess a valid driver's license.
