Real Property Appraiser I (SR-16)

Under immediate supervision, receives initial orientation and training in conducting appraisals of real property; and performs other related duties as required. Distinguishing Characteristics: This class differs from the Real Property Appraiser II in that it performs under immediate supervision as an entry-level trainee and receives initial orientation and training in the principles, theories, methods, and techniques of appraising real property; whereas the Real Property Appraiser II performs as an advanced trainee requiring some application of the principles, theories, methods, and techniques of appraising real property.
