Looking ahead, we also anticipate expanding into the global contract manufacturing organization (CMO) sector.



Position Brand Description:

The Warehouse Leader has overall responsibility for the receipt, storage, transfer, shipment, and control of all materials and/or supplies at the Celltrion Branchburg, LLC New Jersey warehouses in an accurate and timely manner to maintain total customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Leader manages direct reports for Warehouse and Clinical Shipment Operations.


Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Manage for Results /Strategic Planning:

  1. Responsible for leading the Process Team per Manufacturing Standard for Operational Excellence (MSOE) 601 & 602, specifically focusing on safety, quality, and manufacturing performance through the use of appropriate performance metrics and targets. 
  2. Will have reporting responsibilities for the frontline staff either directly or indirectly through frontline supervision.
  3. Ensures that all Warehouse activities are conducted in compliance with Federal, State and Company regulations and /or policies.
  4. Ensures that inventory of all lot-controlled materials is maintained at 98% accuracy level.
  5. Manages and Directs warehouse and dispensary personnel regarding transactions in the ERP system to ensure compliance with procedures and proper documentation.
  6. Ensures that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
  7. Contributes and adheres to all safety, environmental, quality, EEO/AA standards of the corporation.
  8. Develops annual Warehouse budget and monitors spending on a regular basis.
  9. Manages all import and export shipments in compliance with Federal Agencies.
  10. Manages the development, maintenance, and distribution of required Warehouse related reports.
  11. Establishes goals & objectives for direct reports.
  12. Measures and appraises performance of direct reports against job duties, goals, and objectives. Recommends and approves appropriate merit increases, promotions, hires and terminations.
  13. Provide input on the Performance Management Plan for Process Team Members as well feedback on performance. Functional Leader alignment on Process Team members is critical for a successful team performance, Process Team Leader should facilitate that alignment.
  14. Initiates and chairs in Warehouse projects including but not limited to SAP, Cold Storage, equipment validation.
  15. Oversee Clinical Study shipments both Domestically and Internationally.
  16. Ensures proper management onsite and offsite storage and shipment of Cell Banks.
  17. Should escalate issues to appropriate management level when necessary, following the appropriate notification to management process.


Manage Relationships with Key Stakeholders and Customers:

  1. Drive cross functional alignment and integration at Process Team.
  2. Be the liaison between the Process Team and other teams and leaders of the site.



Staff Development and Management:

  1. Measure and appraise front line supervision performance against job duties, objectives, and goals. Provide accurate and timely feedback. Recommend merit increases, promotions, hires, and terminations.
  2. Ensure staff are trained in manufacturing process/operations following standard operating procedures and cGMP guidelines.
  3. Ensure development plans for front line staff and supervisors are in place and active.
  4. Appropriately managing medical cases following Employee Health Services recommendations.
  5. Mentor/coach staff as well as lead staff with a high level of honesty and integrity.



Basic Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of cGMP’s for Mfg. Processing, Packaging or Holding Drugs.
  2. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
  3. Knowledge and experience with MRP application software.
  4. Ability to write effectively as demonstrated through authorship of SOP’s and reports.


Education Requirements:

  1. High School/College graduate or 5 years related experience.


This role is exempt and the anticipated compensation for this role is $135,000 - $180,000.

This is a banded role, and candidates will be placed within the range based on experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
