Location: Hilo, Hawaii Salary Range: $18.00-$23.00 per hour Work Shifts: Days: 6:45am-3:15pm Evenings: 2:45pm- 11:15pm Nights: 10:45pm-7:15am
This is a temporary position. Employment is provided by Heluna Health.
The Patient Safety Attendant (Nurse Aide) provides continuous observation and non-clinical support for high-risk patients within the acute care hospital setting. Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Safety Attendant ensures the safety of patients who may be at risk for falls, self-harm, or wandering due to cognitive impairment or medical conditions. This is a vital role in maintaining the safety and "Aloha" spirit of care for our Hilo community.
